Corporate structure
Opco, holdco and trust set up for what you own and where it is heading.
For incorporated owners earning $500K+ with retained earnings · Ontario
If you own a profitable corporation, pay more tax than you should, and have retained earnings sitting idle, the problem is rarely one professional. It is that none of them work from the same plan. CDA Wealth designs one integrated structure across tax, insurance, lending, investing and estate, then coordinates your Power Team to put it in place and reduce the tax you pay now and later.
The Wealth Optimization Framework™
Your financial life has eight moving parts. Most advisors look at one. The Wealth Optimization Framework™ reviews all eight together, in plain language, so nothing is decided in a silo.
Opco, holdco and trust set up for what you own and where it is heading.
Salary, dividends and capital dividends chosen on purpose, not by habit.
Surplus that works as hard inside the corporation as it would outside.
Corporately owned coverage that funds the CDA, retirement and the estate bill.
A designed exit: freeze, funding and documents that agree with each other.
A structure that strengthens what lenders see and keeps cash reachable.
IPP, RRSP, TFSA, FHSA and RESP used in the right order and amounts.
Income, partners, key people and health: insured or deliberately self-insured.
Insurance is one of the eight pillars, and it is the pillar that funds many of the others. We start with the structure, and the products follow only where they earn their place.
Take the test
Answer honestly. There are no wrong answers, only gaps worth knowing about. Your answers stay in your browser until you choose to share them.
Your Wealth Optimization Score
This score is a conversation starter, not advice. It reflects only what you told us, and a mapping session is where we look at the actual documents.
How it works
Three minutes. You see where the gaps are before we ever speak.
A 45-minute conversation where we draw your current structure and the one it could be.
We work through all eight pillars against your actual documents and produce a written plan.
Your CPA, lawyer and lender stay. We coordinate, timed to your corporate year-end.
Structures drift. We review annually and whenever your life or business changes.
After every meeting you receive a secure, personal page: the plan in plain language, options side by side, the documents we reviewed, and an AI expert that answers questions using only your own material.
Who this is for
The Power Team
This is not a referral network. It is a coordinated team of professionals who work from the single structure we design with you, so nothing is decided in a silo.
Holding companies, family trusts, estate freezes, shareholder agreements and wills that agree with each other.
Compensation planning, Capital Dividend Account tracking, passive-income management and year-end execution.
Corporate and personal investments coordinated as one portfolio, tax-efficient and creditor-aware.
Borrowing power designed into the structure: leverage against corporate assets and insurance where it makes sense.
Alternative investment opportunities for surplus capital, reviewed for fit and risk inside the plan.
Residential and commercial property held and financed in the right entity, with the right lender.

Questions
Your accountant keeps you compliant and files well within the structure you have. We work on the structure itself, across tax, insurance, lending, investing and estate at the same time, and then hand your accountant a plan to execute within. Most of our clients keep their accountant.
The test, the mapping session and the eight-pillar review are provided at no charge. As licensed insurance advisors we are compensated by insurers if and when a policy is placed, which we disclose in every recommendation. Legal and accounting work is billed by those professionals directly.
The framework is built for corporations, but many pillars apply to self-employed professionals and high-income families too. The test will tell you how much of it is relevant to you.
We are licensed in Ontario and meet clients in person in the Greater Toronto Area or by video anywhere in the province.
The mapping session is 45 minutes. The written eight-pillar review typically follows within two weeks. Implementation is timed to your corporate year-end, so full execution can take up to a year.
Take the test below, then book a mapping session. Bring nothing; we will tell you what to gather after we have talked.
